The first single-origin, award-winning Rwandan volcanic tea available in Nigeria — carried by origin and story, not packaging.
High in Rwanda's volcanic highlands, our partner estates grow tea the way it has always been grown at altitude — slowly, in mineral-rich soil formed by ancient volcanic activity, under conditions few tea-growing regions on earth can offer.
This is not a blend, and it is not sourced from multiple regions. Every pack is single-origin — one place, one harvest character, grown and processed by hand at our partner estates in Rwanda.
Rwandan tea from our growing region has been ranked among the finest on the continent — recognition earned at origin, long before it reaches a cup in Nigeria. We're proud to bring that standard to Nigerian households for the first time.
Every lot is graded by hand. Our Premium Leaf packs (FBOPF + D1) are our everyday standard; our Rare Reserve packs (OP1) are long, unbroken leaves from the smallest, most selective harvests — around 166 packs per grade, genuinely limited.
Globally, this growing region produces roughly 38 million kilograms of tea a year — compared to Kenya's 630 million. This isn't an exclusivity story we invented for marketing. It's simply how little of this tea exists in the world, and how rarely it has left the region before reaching Nigeria.
Premium doesn't have to mean unreachable. KIVU Leaf exists to bring an award-recognised, single-origin tea into daily Nigerian life — not locked behind luxury pricing or imported-only shelves.
Black tea may support heart health and digestion; green tea may support energy and metabolism. We say "supports," never "cures" — because that's the honest, responsible claim.
Single-origin, volcanic-grown, pesticide-free, and processed to standards recognised for global export — not diluted for a local market.
Hot or iced, morning or evening — this is a tea meant to be part of the everyday, not saved for special occasions.
KIVU Leaf is operated by Helix Natura Ltd (also registered as Kivu Leaf Ltd, RC 9572141), based in Lagos, Nigeria. NAFDAC registration for our products is currently in progress.
